AMBRY

A small instrument studio in the UK

For people who would rather build one than buy another.

Ambry is a tiny UK studio making desk-sized instruments you print and build yourself. The first is EP-1, a one-octave electric piano designed for Bambu Lab printers, though other printers work too.

EP-1, a one-octave electric piano: a walnut-brown case with a gold lid and a walnut AMBRY badge, seven ivory keys and five black keys.
EP-1 · CAD render, not a photo. Photo to come.

What is Ambry

Ambry is a small instrument studio in the UK. We design desk-sized instruments that you can build at home, and we document each step. We prefer clear drawings to big claims, and slow releases to loud ones. If something is unfinished, we say so.

EP-1

EP-1 is a one-octave electric piano that sits on your desk and is built by you.

How it works

  1. Buy the files. You get the print files and a parts list.
  2. Print. Open the Bambu Studio plates and print the case, keys and parts. STL files are there too for other printers.
  3. Build. Follow the video guide, chapter by chapter. Our animated robot presenter explains each step.

Print files come first. Hardware kits will follow later.

Coming January 2027

EP-1 print files arrive in January 2027.

From John

I started Ambry to build the small piano I wanted on my own desk. EP-1 is that piano, and I hope you’ll build one too.
